When we got married, our first apartment was in New York City’s West Village. It’s a charming, historic neighborhood. The apartments in the area tend to be very small and very old since it was one of the first neighborhoods established in NYC. Here is a little tour of what our home was before we moved to Cleveland.
Our living room. We set up our bar behind the sofa. Because the apartment was on Hudson Street, which goes through Manhattan on an angle, the apartment had some funny architectural angles.
Here is the tray I still use on our ottoman for everything! I usually set it up with food and drink for cocktail hour when we had friends over.
Fresh herbs in pots near the kitchen for cooking.
Our dining table was handmade by my father-in-law as a wedding gift. We hung a pendant above the table to make the small corner feel more like a dining room.
And here are a few photos of our bedroom.
